We're Back!

This is just a quick note to say that Entertainment, Weakly is “back.” Starting Tuesday, September 9 — with a lengthy piece about critics in response to Celine Nguyen’s wonderfully optimistic essay, which you can read here — we’ll resume our regular rotation of essays on books, movies, culture, politics, technology, and human behavior. Most importantly, this means I am reactivating paid subscriptions, and if you have a paid subscription (thank you!), you may receive a charge on your account in the next few days. Please do not call the police.
